Welcome to the launch of Department 45 Consulting. Welcome to the blog that will follow it through it´s initial journey and progress.

I would like to introduce Department 45 Consulting and what I see it will become and how it will help. My name is Tim, and let me give you, dear reader, a gist of what we are going to try and do.

For the last few years I have had the pleasureto get to know many craftsmen, creatives, artisans and makers. Skilled individuals, that operate their own businesses, and stores. While getting to know them I have grown to appreciate the absolute work it is to be a creative and business owner.

Small business owners have to do everything. Creative small business owners have to do all that and be creative. That is a monumental load to carry. The range of skills to master is wide and complex. It´s here I want Department 45 Consulting can help and support.

I would love to help small business owners in the creative space. I have a range of experience and skills developed over 25 years in corporate roles. I plan to work with small business owners as a a supportative and consultive partner and advisor. By being a knowledge sharer, a support, and a sounding board, I want to help develop your business in a way that leaves you more time to create.

This blog will become the home for more posts in the future. I plan to explore a range of topics here in long and short form articles that will give perspective and ideas for improving your business.
